  • Enrichment - Youth

    A variety of after school and evening classes are offered to keep kids active and help develop creative and problem solving skills. For Enrichment class drops/changes/transfers, email: troyenrichment@troy.k12.mi.us. All students must be a part of the Troy School District to attend youth enrichment programs.
  • High School Additional Credit - School Year

    High School students can earn missing credits or gain advance credit by working online from anywhere or in the Troy Learning Center lab at night. Permission from counselor is required.  You will receive an email with instructions once the online registration is verified by your counselor.
  • High School Completion/GED Prep/HISET Prep/Increase Skill Levels

    Students can earn a diploma, prepare for GED/HISET/High School Equivalency testing, and develop academic skills for employment or post-secondary admission. This program features online learning programs individualized lessons, self-paced study, and flexible learning schedules with certified teacher support. Classes are completed through online learning programs and an optional classroom/computer lab which is available Monday through Thursday 9:30 am – 12:30 pm for daytime students OR Monday through Thursday  6:00 pm - 9:15 pm for evening students. Requirements: Students must be 18 years or older and must qualify through placement testing.  A $30 non-refundable registration fee is required, otherwise, classes are FREE for eligible students. Students without a high school diploma/equivalency qualify if math and reading scores are above 5th grade level. Students who have a high school diploma/equivalency qualify if math and/or reading scores are below 12th grade and above 5th grade. Program diploma requirements include a minimum of 2 credits (4 classes) must be earned through Troy Adult Continuing Education unless previous credits have been earned from a Troy School District high school; in which case, a minimum of 1 credit (2 classes) must be earned through Troy Adult Continuing Education. All students must also take the Troy Adult Continuing Education program posttest to earn a diploma.   In Person Registration: Registration is closed for summer. Our next in person registration will be on September 11, 2025 at 10am and 6pm. Come to Room 20 at the Troy Learning Center for an open registration session. Registration paperwork and math/reading placement testing is about a 3-hour process. Please bring a picture ID and Social Security Number. The building address is 1522 East Big Beaver Rd in Troy, 48083. Park on the West side of the building and enter through the middle doors facing the parking lot to get to Room 20. Registration will be on-going after September 8, and students can begin our program any time after September 8.   • TSD Credit Replacement Program

    REGISTRATION: MAY 5 - JUNE 25 SESSION DATES June 18 - August 20 Click here for brochure! This opportunity is ONLY for existing TSD high school students who have been invited to participate in the TSD High School Credit Replacement Program. You will have the opportunity to regain credit for courses you earned a NC (No Credit), E or H grade. Letter grades will NOT be given. Students must meet with school counselor, assistant principal, or principal for course selection questions. This program will be available from June 18 - August 20 online with support from a mentor teacher. To receive credit, students are required to complete their course(s) by August 20. Students must consistently participate in their course(s) and communicate regularly with their mentor teacher or they may be dropped from the program. Once a student successfully completes the credit recovery course, the NC (No Credit), H or E on the student’s transcript will be replaced with a CR (Credit) or G. Letter grades will NOT be given.   • TSD Tutoring

    The Troy School District is pleased to offer a Tutoring Program for elementary, middle, and high school students. To provide the highest quality tutoring experience, all tutors are a part of the excellent Troy School District educational community. TSD TUTORS support classroom learning. Please review the TSD Tutors Parent Guidelines with your student. TutorPunch card: ONE-TO-ONE TUTORING Sessions are purchased as Punch Cards – however, actual Punch Cards are not being used at this time. Your Tutor and you will track your session usage. Registration Process: 1. Select Punch Card Tutoring from the options below. 2. Select 6 or 12 session Punch Card. Please fill out as much of the information as possible, so we can best find you an appropriate Tutor. 3. Include the name of your current Tutor. If you do not have one, leave blank, and a tutor will be assigned to you. The tutor will contact you and together you will work out your tutoring schedule. 4. Punch Card sessions can be used for more than one child. If 2 children will be using one card, please add the 2nd child's name, grade, subject to the NOTES section of the registration. Again, include as much information as possible! 5. You will be contacted by the TSD Tutor Coordinator for any additional information. You will then be connected to a Tutor. TUTOR PUNCH CARDS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
