Child Care for Students
Enrich your life with one of these non-credit classes designed to meet the needs and interests of the Troy community as well as those in surrounding areas!
A variety of after school and evening classes are offered to keep kids active and help develop creative and problem solving skills.
High School students can earn missing credits or gain advance credit.
The Troy School District is pleased to offer an, After-School Tutoring Program for elementary and middle school students.
Our preschool program offers full day or half day class selections. We also offer Explorers before and after school child care as well as Explorer sessions on most half days of school.
A playgroup for families with children 18 months to 36 months old.
All skill levels will run at these dates and times and are open to K - 5th grade

Purchase a 6 or 12 session punch card.
Three levels offered - Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL. Each student will be placed at his/her level based on an English pretest score. In all levels, students will learn and practice speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, life and job skills, American culture, and citizenship information. All classes are taught by experienced and certified teachers.

Testing Schedule:
NEW STUDENTS must complete an in-person English test for class placement. RETURNING STUDENTS that completed a posttest in the Fall 2024 session do not need to take another English test for class placement. An ONLINE registration and $30 payment are required PRIOR to testing for new students. Please attend a testing session below – you do not need an appointment. Arrive on time or you risk losing your spot. We do not offer late testing. Bring your photo ID and social security number (if you have one). Allow two hours for testing. Childcare is not available. Testing is in-person at Troy Learning Center, 1522 E. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48083. *Note: The registration fee is $30 and is non-refundable.
