This course is the study of the interaction of energy and matter and will be centered around extensive laboratory work with a strong emphasis on data and graphical analysis. Concepts include motion, force, energy, and momentum. This course is built upon algebra skills including interpreting and applying scientific concepts to word problems and developing strong laboratory-based scientific reasoning.
Grades 9-12. 1 semester. ½ credit per semester
