A beginner-intermediate Chinese class serves as a bridge between foundational language skills and more advanced linguistic concepts. This class is designed for learners who have a basic understanding of Mandarin but are looking to improve their proficiency. The focus is on strengthening key grammar structures, expanding vocabulary across various themes, and enhancing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students engage in interactive activities such as dialogues, role-plays, and cultural explorations, which not only improve language fluency but also provide a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, including customs, traditions, festivals, and societal norms. This cultural immersion enriches students’ context for communication, making it more authentic. With regular assessments and constructive feedback, students are guided toward intermediate proficiency while developing a greater appreciation of both the language and the culture. Based on students' knowledge levels, a separate beginner class may be offered to better meet their needs.
